Mürsbach is a district of Rattelsdorf in the district of Bamberg. The community, which historically belonged to the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg (Lower Franconia), is considered one of the most important historical ensembles of rural half-timbered architecture in Franconia.
In 2013, Mürsbach was awarded a gold medal in the national Our Village has a Future competition, making it one of the most beautiful villages in Germany.
