The listed ramp building of the former Ostfriesland dairy headquarters (MZO) was built in 1920 and used for many years as a butter warehouse at Großstraße 46-48. The building has stood empty for the past 25 years. The core refurbishment began in 2016 and 2017. This resulted in 31 residential units (some barrier-free) spread over three floors and two commercial units on the first floor. The apartments can be reached via two elevators or two staircases.
