Vacation home with residential character with boat and "jetty option"
The beauty of the property is that it is not only ideal for weekend visits, but can also be used entirely as a main residence.
The vacation home stands on a 294 m2 plot in a bungalow development, right next to the forest and just a few steps from the lake.
The bungalow was built in 1977 in the prefabricated construction typical of the GDR, completely renovated in 2006 and further modernized over the years. The property is completely fenced and therefore also interesting for dog owners.


Furnishing

The bungalow has a spacious living room, a bedroom with enough space and storage for 3 people (ideally 2 adults and 1 child), a kitchen and a bathroom. For chilly days or evenings there is a wood-burning stove and a heater with towel rail in the bathroom. A couch with conversion function offers two extra sleeping places. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, hob and dishwasher. Hot water for the kitchen and bathroom is provided by a hot water boiler. When the weather is nice, there is a large covered terrace for eating, reading or just sitting. The cottage has been gradually fitted with new furniture/kitchen and beds over the last 3 years. The sale includes the equipment and garden furniture - "if interested" also the boat and the takeover of the leased jetty.


Other

In addition to the plot of land on which the cottage stands, the surrounding land (paths/open spaces) will also be sold. This secures the rights of way around the cottage.
- To date, we have used the Giga Cube of a well-known telephone provider in order to be able to work on the move and use streaming TV. The area is currently being developed with a fiber optic connection by WEMAG.

Location description

For active days, you can explore the fantastic nature park by bike. It is possible to explore the lake by boat + electric motor. If you like swimming, you can enjoy cooling off in the lake in summer at one of the many small and large bathing spots. The jetty and bathing spots are 50m away as the crow flies and can be reached via a forest path. Hikes (also through the forest along the lake) can be started directly from the house. A short distance away by car, you will find a great trolley route. The Dobbertin Monastery with its unique double tower complex is particularly worth a visit in the area. We recommend visiting the nearby Barlach town of Güstrow (20 km) or the state capital Schwerin (54 km). The agricultural history museum in Alt-Schwerin, the Slavic castle in Groß Raden or the carriage museum near Sternberg are also highlights. A restaurant and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Those who prefer a little more choice will find what they are looking for in the village of Goldberg, 5 km away. And for those who want to breathe in the Baltic Sea air, the Baltic seaside resort of Heiligendamm is just an hour away by car on a beautiful route through the Mecklenburg countryside.
