    Lehe, Old Bremerhaven and Geestemünde: These were the three original towns from which today's Bremerhaven emerged. You can still feel that today: Geestemünde has its own small downtown, its own identity and some central urban facilities like the city's main train station. Geestemünde is actually a middle-class, working-class district with chic residential areas like around Bürgerpark.
    Bremerhaven Hauptbahnhof is located in Geestemünde, so there is a connection to Cuxhaven (Nordseebahn), Bremervörde/Hamburg and Bremen. The main station is the central transfer point between the individual lines of BremerhavenBus and the regional bus lines from the surrounding area, all of which can be used with the community tariff of the Bremen/Lower Saxony transport association.
