The property is centrally located in the Baltic seaside resort of Prerow and was built as the Seehotel Prerow and opened in 2007 as Suites & Art.

According to the building description, the property has a basement with a white tank, which was founded on a 40cm thick reinforced foundation slab.
The basement is drained via a lifting system, backwater level with pump system.

The exterior masonry was built with vertically perforated bricks, while the stairwell walls and the load-bearing interior walls are made of sand-lime brick, taking fire protection regulations into account. The room partition walls are also made of sand-lime brick in the required thickness to prevent sound transmission between the rooms.
The roof construction is planed in exposed timbers, sharp-edged quarter timbers of quality class I are visible on the inside. Roof surface with tongue and groove boarding 22 mm thick.
