The detached single-family house with extensions was built in several phases between 1960 and 1976 on a 499 m² plot. The main house, built in 1960, has a basement and 1 ½ floors with 2 rooms and a small room (formerly a small kitchen) on the first floor. A beautiful solid wood staircase in oak, beech and natural pine leads to the upper floor with a 90 cm kneeling floor. There are a further 2 rooms, a small chamber and a bathroom, each with a cozy pitched roof. Later additions to the ground floor include a second bathroom, a terrace and a spacious eat-in kitchen.
Adjacent to this is an approx. 80 m² large, solidly roofed courtyard with skylights, which can also be used as a sheltered parking space for cars in winter. The extension behind it, built in 1964, offers around 70 m² of storage space in the attic with a kneeling loft, as well as a third bathroom on the ground floor, 2 rooms for living, housekeeping and/or hobbies and a passageway used as a laundry room to a small garden with a good 130 m² of space laid out close to nature. Although the property is largely built on, it offers a valuable microclimate thanks to the equally natural front garden, the green façade and an approx. 142 m² green roof.
The house has been gradually renovated in parts since 1996:
1996 All pre-1975 windows and glass blocks were replaced with new double-glazed windows, new gas heating systems for the main house and outbuildings, new radiators, new electrical installation kitchen
1997 Rainwater harvesting in front garden, courtyard and garden, 5,000 liters in total
2000 New flat roof waterproofing and approx. 142 m² green roof
2006 Energy renovation: insulation between rafters and on top of rafters in the main house (12 cm + 14 cm) and new tiled roof covering, new attic staircase, insulating glass windows in the attic, insulation of the floor slab in the outbuilding (16 cm + 21 mm installation panels), new gas condensing heating in the main house and domestic hot water solar thermal system
2010 Roof renovation outbuilding: new roof covering with roof tiles
2010/11 Barrier-free bathroom conversion in the main building, installation of wheelchair ramp
2012 New barrier-free garden area
2016 New courtyard gate
2020 New gas condensing boiler heating outbuilding
Individual renovation work is still pending.

The town is located in the climatically very favorable Vorderpfalz region between the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Rhine-Neckar conurbation with good transport links (train station, freeway).
The local infrastructure offers everything you need for daily life. The surrounding countryside with its vegetable, fruit and wine growing is ideal for cycling tours or walks. With over 100 clubs in Haßloch, there is also a wide range of activities from sports to socializing.
The outskirts of the town, known locally as the "Vogelviertel", are a quiet residential area in the south-west of Haßloch, just 5 - 10 minutes' walk from the edge of the forest. Along the edge of the forest there is a wide range of leisure activities and a variety of restaurants.
