The former forester's lodge (>200 years old) was extensively renovated by the architect from 1994 to 1998: the barn was demolished, part of it rebuilt and part of it extended.
During the renovation, real wooden shingles were attached to the exterior of the house and the garden shed. These were last painted in 2020.
