Mülheim-Selbeck/MH-Saarn
The small district of Selbeck, located in the very south of Mülheim, is surrounded by greenery. There are bakeries, restaurants and snack bars along the main street, Kölner Straße, and the supermarket and neighboring Saarn are just a few minutes' drive away. Tennis club, golf club and hiking trails offer an attractive range of sports.
The most beautiful part of Mülheim can be found west of the Ruhr, four kilometers from the city center in Saarn: the elongated Düsseldorfer Straße with its half-timbered and Wilhelminian-style houses, retail stores and restaurants. The route to the nearby Ruhrauen leads past the Saarn monastery and beautiful detached houses. The B 1 runs along the eastern edge of the town, and about five kilometers to the south you reach the Breitscheid junction. There are several bus routes in Saarn.
