Culturally and architecturally interesting is the Aalto Theater, which houses the Essen Opera. Further south is the Ruhrland Museum and the Museum Folkwang. A 40 and A 52 are reachable within a few minutes, the city center partly on foot, several streetcars go to other parts of the city.
