Welsleben is a district of the municipality Bördeland in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt with about 1,769 inhabitants.
Welsleben is the northernmost district of Bördeland and is located 15 km from the center of the state capital Magdeburg, and 7 km from the city of Schönebeck (Elbe).
The federal highway 246a leads through Welsleben, on which one reaches the junction 7 (Schönebeck) of the federal highway 14 after 1.5 km in eastern direction.
The parish church of St. Pancras is the dominant feature of the town. The associated tower from the late Roman period was erected as early as 1225. In 1671 the nave was added in baroque style. Furthermore, Welsleben has some ancient and also listed buildings. Also the 1.80 m high and 18 m long wall in Hundertwasser style by Siefried Meyer belongs to the sights of the village.
