Downtown/Center
The center of Bochum offers small green areas and parks such as the Westpark at the Jahrhunderthalle or the beautifully landscaped Stadtpark, as well as a thoroughly sophisticated retail offering. The residential pattern is broad and alternates between single and row houses as well as taller buildings. At the southern end of the city near Konrad-Adenauer Platz is the popular and lively gastronomy district "Bermuda Triangle". Numerous infrastructure facilities are located in the center. Distances that one does not want to cover on foot can be comfortably covered with the sufficiently available public transportation. For example, you can reach the popular Starlight Hall, the soccer stadium or the mining museum in 15 minutes. Transport connections: approx. 1 km to the A 40; the main station has ICE, IR, regional and S-Bahn connections and is a hub for the city's subway, streetcar and bus services.
