Location description

The district of Hemelingen is located at the southeastern end of Bremen and consists of the districts of Hastedt, Sebaldsbrück, Arbergen and Mahndorf. Hemelingen is home to the Daimler automotive group, Bremen's largest private employer with approximately 17,000 employees. The Hemelingen Tunnel was built around the plant to relieve traffic congestion. Once completed, this will provide a direct link to the autobahn feeder road.
