Quickborn is a small town in the south of Schleswig-Holstein with around 20,000 inhabitants. It is located approx. 20 km north of Hamburg and can be reached quickly via the A7 highway and the B4 federal highway. Both the AKN (direction Hamburg and via Kaltenkirchen to Neumünster) and the bus lines to Norderstedt and Pinneberg ensure good transport connections. Work is already in full swing to electrify the AKN and upgrade it to an S-Bahn. The new S 5 will then take passengers from Quickborn to Hamburg city center without having to change trains.
Quickborn is home to 3 elementary school, 1 community school, 2 grammar schools and a special needs center. The private school "Campus Region Hamburg" with a primary and community school is only a 3-minute walk away. Numerous shopping facilities, everyday amenities, doctors' surgeries and pharmacies are within walking distance.
