Horn-Lehe is best known for its beautiful rhododendron park, located directly on one of the villa streets, Markusallee. The largest collection of rhododendrons and azaleas in Europe blooms here. A little further on, the University of Bremen has its headquarters, as does the Drop Tower and the large Technology Park with companies located there such as OHB Technology, Siemens, BEGO and the Fraunhofer Institute. A special highlight is the Science Center (Universum Bremen), a hands-on museum that has been constantly expanded in recent years and provides insights into everyday phenomena. The neighboring Stadtwaldsee (Unisee), the nature reserve (Uniwildnis) offer Bremen residents plenty of nature and local recreation. Horn-Lehe is predominantly an upscale residential area with some local shopping areas, easily accessible by streetcar (line 4). The university and the technology park are easily accessible by bus (line 21 & 22), streetcar (line 6) and also by car.
