Findorff is located in the immediate vicinity of Bremen-Mitte. The Weidedamm development area is located directly next to Bürgerpark, a popular recreational area for Bremen residents. The exhibition halls and the Schlachthof cultural center are also nearby. Findorff is directly connected to the train station via the Bürgerweide. Every year in the fall, the Bremer Freimarkt, the largest folk festival in northern Germany, takes place on the large grounds next to the exhibition halls, followed in the spring by the somewhat smaller Osterwiese. A particular highlight of the district is the Findorffmarkt, where young and old come together on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to buy fresh fruit and vegetables from the surrounding area. The residential streets in Findorff are small in scale and offer excellent connections via bus routes (25, 27, 28).
