Bus routes take you in various directions, including a direct link to Essen city centre (Rathaus – town hall).
    The rent has been calculated on the basis of occupancy by one or two people, and already includes service charges and an advance payment of €125 per month for the electricity used for heating. If occupied by three or four people, the rent increases. Electricity for general household use must be paid for separately. You can also rent a garage for €50 a month.

    The district of Stoppenberg lies around four kilometres to the north-east of the city centre. Definitely worth a mention is the Zeche Zollverein, an impressive former industrial complex now used as a cultural and exhibition centre. It also houses a restaurant, and is well known nationally. The district’s historical centre can be found around the abbey church on the Kapitelberg hill. Several bus and tram routes provide links to the city centre and to other districts of the city. The A40 motorway is around 3km away.
